Odette and Odile.

Back in more beautiful ages, let's say around 1875, lived a beautiful fair swan, Odette. The swan was immensly beautiful. However, she was caged and sad. The purity of her heart and the hope within are what kept her holding on.

Then, also lived a dark swan, Odile. This swan was equally beautiful as Odette, but not as kind-hearted. For her own practical benefits, she would do a lot to take away Odette's only love, the Prince.

This story ends in different yet equally tragic manners in theatres all over the world.

Allow me to disagree, Pyotor Tchaikovsky.

Now, in less beautiful times, there are not only fair and dark swans, but mostly dark Princes. There are Odettes and Odiles but there is also a stable of only-named "Princes". They like making up an array of Odettes and Odiles, whatever it takes. The kindness of an Odette or evilness of an Odile don't matter now, for numbers are what makes a Prince.

It's not easy when you see everything in cartoons.
